Bootcamp Overview 2024
Pledges Inc. has been supporting tech training bootcamps across the globe since June 2021. We are a Delaware registered 501(c)(3) based in California, providing financial and strategic support to IT Training Bootcamps across the world to equip young people with relevant IT skills and certifications and boost their employability.
Our focus on training is to enable for-profit and non-profit training and upskilling organizations equip young and mid-level professionals with the skills relevant and needed to enter and succeed in the IT sector in their own countries as well as globally. We believe that training individuals and helping them secure viable job opportunities, is the first step to a sustainable and economically secure future. We focus greatly on the impact of the training programs and organizations we partner with and support, by the employment and placement numbers and the salaries generated.
We also encourage our partners to focus on financial sustainability, by remaining engaged with the graduates and alumni. By encouraging the alumni to give and pledge back to their parent organization, we ensure that our investment is revolved to support future students & trainees, and create a financial sustainability pipeline for the training bootcamps and organizations.
Over the past three years we have partnered with 18 bootcamps and training organizations mainly in the MENA region, Pakistan Indonesia and Philippines, investing more than USD3.8 million in Equity Investment, Loan & Debt Investment, Recoverable Grants and Scholarships. With over 14,000 enrollments across all programs, 10 of our partners have successfully graduated more than 3000 students placing more than 950 graduates in economically viable jobs, on the path to financial sustainability.
Currently, we are providing financial and strategic support in the form or Equity Investment, Debt & Loan Investment, Financial-Aid and Student-Loan based Grants and Scholarships to 12 partners in Africa, Pakistan, Indonesia and Philippines. With more than 4,000 active students currently studying, we are supporting programs ranging from Web Development to 2D and 3D Animation, Data Sciences, Data Engineering and Product Development and Design.
